I am sorry for missing the past couple days. Working is highly over rated and I do not recommend it if you can avoid it. I am still cleaning up my messed up photo archive. So still posting oldies. Please remember you can click on the images to enlarge them.
A collection of photos to share with family, friends and others who are interested in my work. Instead of attaching photos to emails I have decided to place them on a blog so people can see them. I hope to post daily, or near daily. I won't promise perfection. I will show my failures as well as successes. Please enjoy and please comment. Negative and positive. Don't like a photo? Say so. Each photo is a learning opportunity and honest comments are welcome.

Photo of the Day...........You don't want to mess'in with this
I am cleaning up the computerized photo mess I made so I am throwing up oldies but not necessarily goodies.
You want a toe? I can get you a toe, believe me. There are ways, Dude. You don't wanna know about it, believe me.

Photo of the Day.............................YUK!
There is more to photography than art. There is information, comment and opinion. My opinion is this has to taste BAD! This would neutralize any blood pressure medication you could take.

Photo of the Day......................Bountiful Harvest
Tomatoes. Heirlooms, Early Girls, Better Boys, Romas and Cherries. Yum! It was a bountiful harvest this summer and there are more yet to come. I suspect we will plant far fewer tomato plants next year.

Photo of the Day...........................Day Lilies
I played with color saturation and hue a bit with this photo attempting to see if I can draw a little drama out of a photo taken in the moment with no preplaning. Photography is technological art and experimentation, and reality is not always beauty so indulge and see what comes.

Photo of the Day.........................SGF Citation
It was a busy day today so only had time for a few drive by shootings. I selected this shot taken while driving down the flight line this morning at the airport. Sometimes its fun to just point the camera out the window while driving along and see what ends up on the sensor.

Photo of the day.............Backlit Green Tomato
Enjoy the day while your fat and healthy 'cause soon you will be in my belly.
EOS 40D EF-S60mm MACRO LENS f/32 1/13s ISO200 MANFROTTO TRIPOD
Took a macro photo of tomato backlit by morning sun with natural starburst radii. Close inspection will show Fresnel diffraction rings from the water droplets. Next time I will use a polarizer filter to minimize the refractions. As it should sharpen up the edges of the back lit water drops. As soon as I buy a filter that fits this lens. You all my have to suffer through a long series of macro/close up photos because I have fallen in love with it and it may be awhile before I tire of it.

Today's selected photo
It is a hot and humid storm generating day. Severe thunderstorm watches turned into Thunderstorm Warnings which turned into Tornado Warnings so I thought a weather photo would be appropriate. If things get more exciting I'll post the drama.
